Fletcher calls General Assembly back into special session.
Gov. Fletcher has signed a proclamation calling the General Assembly back into session today in order for the members to consider an energy bill dealing with
"providing incentives for energy companies looking to build alternative fuels facilities in Kentucky".
According to the Governor's office: "This legislation will help establish Kentucky as a national leader in the field of alternative fuel production. Once the first facility locates in Kentucky, other companies are expected to follow. In addition to providing a positive economic impact to the Commonwealth and thousands of jobs, this legislation will pave the way for the development of alternative markets for Kentucky coal."
