Interpol seeks Saddam Hussein's daughter.
I was gone to ATL. since Friday and just made it home tonight. That's why my posting has been sparse, but not anymore -- so here goes.
The International Police (INTERPOL) is seeking Saddam Hussein's eldest daughter, Raghad Saddam Hussein, and have put her (and her mother, Saddam's first wife, Sajida), on its most wanted list for funding and supporting the Iraqi insurgency. You can read more here.
Catching them could be what the US needs to gravely affect the money that is funding the insurgency, but that may not happen before September 15th when the "surge" report is expected to decide the fate of Iraq -- at least as far as our troops "surging" there are concerned.
Update: Jordan has no plans of handing over any member of Saddam Hussein's family.
