Another movie review: American Gangster.
I went to see the premier of the Danzel Washington/Russell Crowe movie American Gangster two weeks ago. If you have nothing else to do and you want to catch a movie today or this weekend or whenever, I highly recommend American Gangster -- especially if you ignore the subject matter, drugs and exploitation of the drug addicted by a RUTHLESS drug dealer.
If you want to know what the LUST (this is beyond the love of) for money can do to a man (or group of men actually) and how drugs can devastate a community -- with great acting to boot --, then you CANNOT go wrong with American Gangster.
I gave the movie an A minus, for whatever my grading is worth to you.

American Gangster reminds me yet again what a versatile actor Russel Crowe is… plus it's pretty clever how Ridley Scott makes us love the bad guy and dislike the good guy only to subtly flip that around by the end of the movie.
You are absolutely right, Patrick.
