Exactly right. Obama has built his financial war chest with small donations from many motivated, web savvy, contributers who are likely to give again and again without exceeding any campain finance limits.
Hillary by contrast has relied on large contributions from a a much smaller pool of wealthy members of the Democratic and lobbying establishment.
Conspiracy theories are circulating about the true nature of the Clinton Campaign's disclosure of Hillary's decision to personally loan her campaign $5 million, but applying Occam's razor suggests something more obvious: Hillary really is, and will continue to be, financially challenged in the face of Obama's infections Campaign of Hope.
