Updated delegate count (1191 needed for Republican nomination): McCain 613; Romney 269; Huckabee 190.
Though John McCain did NOT get all the needed delegates yesterday, it is OBVIOUS he will be the Republican nominee this fall.
I know Mitt "I'll flip flop on any issue" Romney has more money than s....", but after spending over $100 million so far and getting pretty much no where, he is well advised to QUIT and endorse John McCain before he WASTES more millions that he should instead donate to charity!

It ain't over yet my friend!
Steve, I heard the fat lady warming up. I can assure you, that John McCain will NOT dabble in immigration the way he did before. If he does, you and I, and ALL the other bloggers, will get Congress to send him to the "wood shed"!
McCain has already flipped again on the immigration issue in discussions with Sean Hannity.
He said if the McCain-Kennedy Shamnesty bill passes when he is President he will sign it!
Then we just need to STOP it from passing!
I will reluctantly support McCain if he is our nominee because we cannot afford to sit on the sidelines and let the Democrats take control of Congress and the White House.
There are also seven good reasons for supporting the Republican candidate for President in November even if he is not ideologically pure!Seven members of the Supreme Court are over 68 and the next President will very likely replace at least 3 of them in the next four years due to retirement or death.
McCain said yesterday that he wants only judges who will "stand up for the strict construction of the Constitution,"
What a setback to judicial restraint and strict construction it would be if either Hillary or Obama were to make those appointments!
I knew you'd come around!
