Beshear On a Firing Binge?
I am getting reports from Democrats and Republican appointees of former Governor Fletcher that the Beshear administration is firing non-merit appointees right and left!
While these political appointees serve at the pleasure of the Governor what happended to Beshear's campaign pledge to appoint Democrats and Republicans to state positions?
His firing of a National Guardsman returning from active duty is a disgrace and,in my opinion unlawful. Come on Attorney General Jack Conway let's see you do your constitutional duty and investigate these firings for purely political reasons!

I must observe that every new Governor likes to bring his/her new people. Fletcher did it -- some will say he did NOT do enough (remember his boast that he had 61% of his appointed employees were Democrats), which helped QUICKEN his EXIT!
Let us wait until Beshear has had his chance to bring his own people in to count and see if he has appointed many Republicans.
