Olbermann Idiocy

You expect the worst from Keith Olbermann and his lefty slime fest on MSNBC, but I have heard all along he is not just a jerk, but unstable. That seemed to be the case tonight, as I surfed by his show, to see him wildly attacking President Bush for not retaliating against the terrorist's safe havens after the USS Cole bombing.

Well, gee, he kind of had a pretty good reason- he wasn't President back in 200o when this happened.

And the larger point of his rant was that strange argument the Bush haters constantly want to thow out that 1) We don't have enough troops in Afghanistan and 2) We haven't attacked the real safe haven, Pakistan.

Now, I thought the lefties didn't want to send Baby Alex or anyone else to fight in Iraq, but at the same time they want to taunt us that we need to start a war in Pakistan? ( That seems to be Obama's brilliant position)

Actually, our small footprint strategy in Afghanistan and the Pakistan border has done OK, and we need patience, not a big surge of troops.

This is a lot like the taunting Clinton and others did in the 1990s that George HW Bush didn't go into Iraq and take out Saddam when he had the chance. Of course, the Dems wouldn't do that after years of provocation, and now they rip George W. for finally going into Iraq in 2003.

"Attack Bush, we hate Republicans, any crazy lie is OK, just so we win an election and national security be damned." It's amazing this country keeps going with so many of its citizens determined to wreck it.
