Ex Rand Paul Campaign Volunteer, Tim Profitt, Who Used Woman's Neck As A Stepping Stone At KET Debates, "Humbles Himself Before God" And Moves To Arizona.

Ex-Rand Paul volunteer denounces violence
Written by ROGER ALFORD

FRANKFORT, Ky. — A former GOP campaign volunteer serving probation after being charged with assaulting a liberal activist last year is now denouncing violence.

Tim Profitt told The Associated Press that he has “humbled himself before God” after his involvement in a scuffle outside a Kentucky television studio where U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and Democrat Jack Conway were scheduled to debate.

Now living in Arizona, Profitt entered a special plea in the case last month in which he didn't admit guilt but acknowledged that prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him of misdemeanor assault. He agreed to serve unsupervised probation and pay $600 to cover medical bills of MoveOn.org activist Lauren Valle.

Video of the scuffle showed Valle being pulled down, her face pinned to the concrete and then being stepped on.
