I told you so!

Back when the Hearing Officer in the Mike Duncan merit hiring case issued his ruling, I opined that "one CANNOT escape the conclusion that the opinion rendered by the hearing officer is correct." Now the State Personnel Board has issued its ruling on appeal agreeing with me.

Yes, I told you so -- again.

I looked back at your earlier opinion, where you said that ruling rested on accepting that the nondiscrimination portions excepted the attainment of status versus the other way around.

I know the board has ruled along with your opinion, but why isn't the attainment of status the exception of status? That would seem intuitive to me...

Like I stated in my opinion, the statutes are convoluted. I did NOT write them!
