Idaho U. S. Senator Larry Craig's comeback is now no more? Thank goodness.

It appears that Idaho U. S. Senator, Larry "toilet guy" Craig (see more cartoons), may be backing off his comeback attempt, after the Senate Ethics Committee refused to dismiss ethics charges against him (read update here) and after a heated meeting of Republican Senators where he likely saw the handwriting on the wall, so to speak.

We thank Senate Minority Leader, Senator Mitch McConnell, for his leadership on this Craig's conundrum.
