Hurray for LIARS, as Washington state's highest court rules it's ok to lie about your political opponent.
Washington state's highest (Supreme) court has invalidated, as unconstitutional, a state statute that makes it illegal "to sponsor with actual malice" any "(f)alse political advertising or electioneering communication".
The court's majority ruling was decried by a dissenting Justice, who likened the ruling as "an invitation to lie with impunity".

The ruling seems to fly in the face of a growing trend that discourages lying with impunity, including one in Ohio.
So for ALL politicians (and their woeful supporters) who prefer to lie with impunity and AVOID the truth, Washington state has extended you an invitation (and I'm sure, a welcome mat). Have fun there.
