What will it be for Steve Beshear today? A Jimmy Swaggart moment or a Bill Clinton immitation?

It is one thing to humbly acknowledge that we are all flawed human beings and to inspire others by aspiring toward a higher goal yourself. But it is quite another thing, and quite risky, to preach against the morals of others as if you have some higher authority to do so.

The silver haired and silver tongued Louisville lawyer, who has been preaching all year across Kentucky in condemnation of Governor Fletcher's ethics, will have his own past ethical behavior exposed today.

According to published reports, as well as his own admission that the report will be negative, what is anticipated is proof that Steve Beshaer has been caught cheating the people he was hired to represent.

And when first confronted about the matter, he decided to lie about it.

Having been caught cheating the people you represent once before, in your adult professional career, and then lying about it during your pre-employment interviews, should be a disqualifying discovery.

Now the question becomes, when the preacher is exposed for immoral behavior how will he react? Will it be a Jimmy Swaggart moment of tearful confession, or a Bill Clinton, finger pointing, lying denial?

So far it has been the latter.

Edior's note: BS deleted; Beshear substituted in its place. Also, offensive word that substitutes for human amorous physical intimacy (and rhymes with the word "shrew") has been deleted.
