Kentucky gets serious about education, tells high school students "No pass No Drive".

Kentucky is getting serious about education. A new law that went into effect today, called the the No Pass/No Drive Law, permits the state DOT to revoke or deny licenses to 16 and 17 year olds who fall short of academic standards, or who accumulate nine or more unexcused absences, drop out of school or fail at least four courses or the equivalent in the previous semester.

Good law, but will it work?
