On Roger Clemens: Like I said, it's the lying that get's ya!

Friday, February 22, 2008

It may not be a crime, but it's the cover up or the lying after that gets ya!

And so it may well be with this guy.

On CBS' 60 minutes, Musharaff denies killing Bhutto, blames her for taking "unnecessary risks"; and, Roger Clemens denies "doping". Wink!

I am sitting here watching CBS' 60 minutes. Pakistani President Musharaff denies killing Bhutto, says "she took unnecessary risks", I AGREE she took terrible risks, but that does NOT mean that he had nothing to do with her death.

And then, there is Roger Clemens, who denies "doping", as claimed by his trainer. I say: yeah, right! Wink! Wink!!

Then there's the truly chilling and spooky part: a former altar boy, John Martorano, a/k/a, Richard Ocoin, killer for associate James J. "Whitey" Bulger, who is still an F. B. I. most wanted fugitive?

Didn't the guy give you the CREEPS?

YYYYYYYYYYYIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

George Mitchell releases report, finds widespread cheating with performance-enhancing drugs in Major League Baseball. Welcome to America!

Former Senator George Mitchell has just released his much anticipated report. The report found widespread cheating with performance-enhancing drugs in Major League Baseball.

Free agent Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte of the New York Yankees, Miguel Tejada of the Houston Astros, Eric Gagne of the Milwaukee Brewers and Paul Lo Duca of the Washington Nationals were among the most prominent former and current All-Stars to be mentioned in the lengthy 311 page report.

I say welcome to America!

Why is the report any surprise to anyone, when it's CLEAR to anyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear that our country turns a blind eye and shut ears to these kinds of unethical behavior, in a competitive quest to crown an eventual "winner".

Why does anyone suppose that Major League Baseball -- or any other aspect of life, like in politics (including those politicians who "bribe" their way into office) or play the "courthouse cha cha" or are the religious leaders who steal their parishes' money and live extravagantly, molest children or are involved in shady romantic relationships (and the list goes on) -- would be any different?

For all you Baseball fans: Barry Bonds has been indicted. The idea is to him "send him to the showers".

Barry Bonds has just been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury -- a kind of "sending him to the showers".

They NEVER learn, do they, that IT'S NOT THE ORIGINAL CRIME BUT THE LYING THAT GETS YOU easily IN TROUBLE?

I wonder if this means that the asterisk beside his record setting home run this year, is for REAL and will stay PERMANENTLY now?

Is HR 756, deserving of an asterisk or not?

Is Barry Bond's Home Run, where he broke all time records for Home Runs, deserving of an asterisk -- thus 756* -- because of his alleged doping with performance enhancement drugs, or is it not?

You be the judge.
