Poll results are in for person(s) of the year.
The results of last week's UNSCIENTIFIC poll show that the readers here want Gov. Fletcher, Greg Stumbo and Ben Chandler to be this blog's persons of the year. I sense a common theme here, but won't reveal the person(s) of the year until Friday. Hint: The person(s) of the year will reflect this common theme and will also concern the story of the year. Any guesses?

I'm sure, Mr. Onyekwuluje, that you've already made up your mind on person of the year. However, I would like to attempt to sway your opinion by nominating...Lt. Governor Steve Pence. He has shown great poise and character throughout this ordeal, even to the point that I can't recall a negative press story connecting him personally to the "shennanigans" involving the Governor's and State Atty. General's respective offices. So, for exemplifying true leadership under fire, I'd like to nominate fmr Lt. Gov. Steve Pence for at least an honorable mention.
